Assets

You can create and manage assets from the Assets menu in the sidebar. The menu consists of two modules:

1. Asset Types
2. Assets

Asset Types

Asset Types categorize different types of assets. You can create a new Asset Type by entering its name on the Assets → Asset Types page.

Assets

Assets are items that can be rented out for profit. Higher authorities can allocate assets to employees, and penalties may apply if an asset is not returned by its due date. You can create new assets from the Assets → Assets page.

Here the fields are divided into 2 sections to create a new assets:

1 Assets Details - Few fields are given below in which some are required:

• Image, Upload an image of the asset.
• Asset Name, Enter the name of the asset (required).
• Asset Type, Select the asset type (required).
• Location, Specify where the asset is used (required).
• Serial Number, Provide the assets serial number.
• Description, Add additional details about the asset.
• Status Indicate whether the asset is working or not.

2 Transition Details - The following fields track the financial and acquisition details of the asset:

• Account Number,The account from which the asset's cost will be deducted.
• Purchase date, The date when the asset was purchased.
• Price, The cost of the asset.
