Customers

The Customers module helps you manage your customer database. You can create, view, and manage all your customer information from the Customers menu in the sidebar.


Creating a Customer

To create a new customer, click the Add New button. The following fields are available:

  • Name - Customer's full name or business name
  • Email - Customer's email address
  • Phone - Contact phone number
  • Address - Customer's billing address
  • Shipping Address - Shipping address (if different from billing)
  • Tax Number - Customer's tax identification number (GST, VAT, etc.)

Quick Add Customer

While creating invoices or quotations, you can quickly add a new customer using the Quick Add button next to the customer dropdown. This allows you to create a customer without leaving the invoice/quotation form.


Import Customers

You can bulk import customers from a CSV or Excel file:

  1. Click the Import button on the Customers page
  2. Download the sample file template
  3. Fill in customer data following the template format
  4. Upload the completed file
  5. Review and confirm the import

Managing Customers

From the customer list page, you can:

  • View - Open customer details showing all invoices, quotations, and payments
  • Edit - Modify customer information
  • Delete - Remove a customer (only if no invoices/payments are linked)
  • Search & Filter - Search customers by name, email, or phone

TIP

The customer detail view shows a complete history of all invoices, quotations, and payments associated with that customer.
