Inventory Categories

Inventory Categories help you organize your hotel's inventory items into logical groups for easier management and tracking.

Creating an Inventory Category

To create a new inventory category:

• Go to Inventory Categories from the sidebar
• Click Add Category
• Enter the category name

Common Inventory Categories

• Cleaning Supplies - Detergents, disinfectants, mops, brushes
• Toiletries - Soap, shampoo, toothbrush kits, towels
• Bed Linen - Bed sheets, pillowcases, blankets, duvets
• Kitchen Supplies - Utensils, cookware, serving items
• Office Supplies - Stationery, printer cartridges, paper
• Electrical - Light bulbs, batteries, cables
• Maintenance - Tools, spare parts, hardware

Category Management

• View all categories
• Edit category names
• Delete categories (only if no items are linked)
