Room Availability
The Room Availability module provides a visual overview of all rooms and their current status across your hotel. It helps front desk staff quickly check which rooms are available, occupied, or under maintenance.
Accessing Room Availability
Navigate to Room Availability from the sidebar menu.
Filters
Date Range Filter
- Select a check-in and check-out date range
- The view updates to show room availability for the selected period
- Default shows today's availability
Room Type Filter
- Filter rooms by room type (e.g., Standard, Deluxe, Suite)
- Select "All Room Types" to view all rooms
- Helps narrow down available rooms by category
Floor-wise Room Display
Rooms are organized by floors:
- Each floor is displayed as a section
- Rooms on each floor are shown as visual cards/boxes
- Room status is color-coded for quick identification
Room Status Colors

|---|---|---|
| Green | Available | Room is ready for booking |
| Red | Occupied | Room is currently occupied |
| Orange | Maintenance | Room is under maintenance |
| Blue | Cleaning | Room is being cleaned |
Usage
Room Availability is useful for:
- Front Desk Operations: Quick check of available rooms for walk-in guests
- Housekeeping Coordination: See which rooms need cleaning
- Maintenance Planning: Track rooms under maintenance
- Capacity Planning: Understand overall hotel occupancy
TIP
Use the date range filter to check future room availability when handling advance reservations.
